The draw for quarter final games in the Statewide Cup have been less than ideal for North-West soccer clubs, with no games scheduled to be played on the Coast. Of the 12 games excepted to be played on May 1 across the Lakoseljac, Women’s and Under 20s, eight will be played at Hobart venues and four will be played in Launceston. The random draw is one Devonport Strikers president Drew Smith said never favoured the North-West team, now close to three years since the club has hosted a game. “We cannot get a home game to save ourselves,” Smith said upon hearing the news. “I can remember the last home Cup game…
