The top four teams in the NWBU women’s competition have established a break over the bottom four after Tuesday night’s games went as expected. The closest result came at Somerset, where Wynyard returned to the winners list with a 80-64 victory over the Heat. The Wildcats trailed by seven points at the first break, but exploded on offence in the second quarter with a 33-13 burst to set up the result. Somerset failed to make any serious inroads into the deficit in the second half as Wynyard improved to 4-1 on the season. D’asia Chambers led the Wildcats with 31 points to go with 12 rebounds and six steals, while Somerset were best served by Olivia Chugg’s 20 points Penguin continue to be the only unbeaten…
