East Devonport board member Justin Delanty has labelled the decision to put the club’s senior program into recess for season 2021 as “incredibly difficult”, but the right one for the integrity of the club and the competition. The club made the call on Monday after meeting with the NWFL, with players informed on Tuesday night after the club fell “well short” of its target of 55 senior and reserves players for the season.
